8.7 version of MathGraph32 brings up avery important improvement : MathGraph32 can work as a web application (pwa standing for progressive web application)
The principal sis : you start your browser up and put in the address bar the following URL : https://app.mathgraph32.org.
For the first use, your computer or tablet must be connected to internet.
When MathGraph32 is displayed in your browser, it is possible to ask this address to become a web application (see below the explanations according to the kind of device you are on).
Once MathGraph32 installed as a web aplication, a new shortcut appears on your desktop with MathGraph32 icon :
This process finished, event if your computer, tablet or mobile phone is no longer connected to internet, MathGraph32 will start in a special window of the browser (without address bar) as if it was a real application installed on your computer.
Once reconnected to internet, if you launch again the MathGraph32 web application (via the shortcut), the web application will verify if a new version of MathGraph32 is available. If so, the web application will be updated (after warning you).

Moreover, 8.7 version of MathGraph32 brings up a lot of improvements :
– The keyboard shortcuts work also online (the keyboard shortcuts list is available at the bottom on the options dialog box o fMathGraph32).
– It is now now possible to copy the figure in the clipboard, even online (and in the web application too of course)
– The zoom lens is also working when moving the name of a point or a line (very useful on tablet where the finger is hiding what your are doing).
– For the tools measuring the area of a polygon or the length of a line, the measure is automatically dispalyed on the figure (if the check box Automatic display of length and measures is checked in the options dialog box).
– Instead of having to validate some dialog boxes by OK (when you pin down a point or a display for example), you will see fugitive warnings at the bottom right corner of the MathGraph32 window.
– On tablets and mobile phones, you can now drag the dialog boxes (by dragging the blue part at the top of the dialog box).
– A new tool allows the user to unpin all the objects that have been pinned down. This can be useful when working on a figure that was created on a device with a graphical definition higher than yours and some objects are outside the MathGraph32 window. This tool is available in the last toolbar on the left with the icon :
– You can now copy in the clipboard a permanent URL for the figure you are working on. Once this permanent URL is copied in the clipboard, you can paste it in the address bar of a browser : MathGraph32 will start in a browser window (including if you are not connected to internet provided that you have installed the web application on your device).
This new version has been a lot of work and I hope you will enjoy working with these new features of MathGraph32.
