Installing MathGraph32 on a Mac as a web application can be a good alternative to installing it using a .dmg file.

Before doing this, launch Safari and, in the Safari menu (top left, next to the Apple logo), click Safari, then open the Settings panel.

At the top, click the General tab, and under File download location, choose Ask for each download.

If you don’t do this, any figures you save with MathGraph32 will automatically be placed in the Downloads folder.

Next, in Safari’s address bar, enter : <app.mathgraph32.org

MathGraph32 will start inside your browser window.

In the top menu, choose File, then Add to Dock.

You will be asked to name the shortcut. For example, you can name it MathGraph32 WebApp.

The MathGraph32 icon will now appear in your Dock.

If you close the Safari window, clicking this new Dock shortcut will launch MathGraph32 as a web application.

This web application will even work offline, and as soon as you reconnect, it will check whether you have the latest version. If not, it will ask for permission to update itself.
